Sinai Vespie serves as the Executive Pastry Chef at the University of Notre Dame's Campus Dining, a position she has held since 2017. In this role, she oversees the operations of the pastry and bake shops located in the Center for Culinary Excellence and is a key member of the Campus Dining Culinary Council. ​

In 2020, Vespie showcased her exceptional skills by winning season six of Food Network's "Halloween Baking Championship," competing against nine other talented chefs. Beyond her professional achievements, she is passionate about mentoring and leading her all-female pastry team at Notre Dame, orchestrating a symphony of sugar and spice to create delectable desserts for the university community.

A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Orlando, Florida, Vespie earned an Associate Degree in Applied Science from their Patisserie and Baking Program. Her culinary journey began as a junior sous chef at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort in Orlando. She then honed her cake decorating skills at Sweet Treats Cakery in Tampa and later managed a comprehensive pastry program as the pastry chef at the Tampa Marriott Waterside. ​

Vespie's dedication to her craft is evident in her innovative and artistic dessert creations, which not only delight the palate but also serve as edible works of art. Her leadership and creativity continue to enrich the culinary landscape of the University of Notre Dame
