Madison Kemker, J.D. (‘22), currently serves as a law clerk to the Honorable Gretchen S. Lund in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana. Prior to this, and through the generosity of Notre Dame Law School, Madison worked as a staff attorney at the Uptown People's Law Center in Chicago, Illinois, where she litigated civil rights class actions on behalf of prisoners. This work was made possible through the Notre Dame Law School Thomas L. Shaffer Public Interest Fellowship, which funds the provision of legal services to underrepresented populations.

Madison currently lives in Chicago with her fiancé Casey, and their rescue dog, Charlie.
