A native of Columbus, Ohio, Kelly Griffith Bell (‘16), M. Ed (‘18) currently serves as a Catholic school principal at St. Laurentius School in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Kelly began her career in education in the 23rd cohort of the Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE) program. She served as a middle school Social Studies teacher at Guadalupe Regional Middle School in Brownsville, Texas. She then taught History and Government at Elizabeth Seton High School, an all-girls Catholic high school outside of Washington DC. There, she coached Field Hockey and Lacrosse. In 2020, Kelly joined the ranks of ‘Pandemic Principals’ when she accepted a principal role in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. She and her husband, Brendan Bell (‘15), M. Ed (‘17), have an 11-month old son, Kevin. They're looking forward to bringing Kevin to South Bend for his first Notre Dame football game this fall!
