Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Hannah Thompson graduated from the University of Notre Dame in May 2021 with degrees in Psychology and Africana Studies. She later earned a Master of Technology Entrepreneurship and Innovation (with distinction) from the University of Maryland in December 2022.
While at Notre Dame, Hannah was a member of the volleyball team, served as an Executive Board Member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), and was Notre Dame Athletics’ ACC student-athlete representative. She also co-founded what is now Together Irish. She was grateful to receive honors such as the Francis O'Connor Award, the Byron V. Kanaley Award, the Wright, Flint-Hamilton & Mason Award, and four Monogram awards.
After graduation, Hannah played volleyball professionally in Veszprém, Hungary for two seasons. She now serves as the Assistant Director of the Rockne Athletics Fund, where she is excited to help provide student-athletes with the same opportunities that shaped her into the woman she is today.
