Grace McNamee is currently an Environmental Engineer in Brown & Caldwell's New York City office. She has three years of prior experience with a civil design firm in the San Francisco Bay Area. Grace holds a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Notre Dame (2020) and a B.S. in Chemistry from Saint Mary’s College (2019). While attending Notre Dame, she studied abroad in Rome, Italy, and collaborated with graduate students in Ireland on structural research for Kylemore Abbey. Her undergraduate research, funded by the National Science Foundation, focused on arsenic remediation in water sources and was conducted at her alma maters and Georgia Tech near her hometown of Milton, Georgia. Grace remains actively involved with Notre Dame’s Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering & Earth Sciences (CEEES), mentoring students in engineering career development. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys traveling, attending art exhibits, and competing in backgammon.
