Having attended Baylor University, Andrea Pujol earned her undergraduate degrees in Mathematics and Economics. Subsequently, she taught Math at St. Paul High School in East Los Angeles for two years as part of the ACE program. Next, she moved back to her hometown of Dallas, Texas to teach at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School. Sensing a tug back to working with high school students, she recently completed her fourth year teaching at Ursuline Academy of Dallas, the only all-girls Catholic school in the Dallas-Ft Worth, Texas area. At Ursuline, Andrea teaches Math, ranging from Algebra 1 to PreCalculus to Personal Finance, and serves as the Junior Grade Dean, one of four total class level deans. Each Grade Dean works closely with the Dean of Students and Student Activities Director to, both, hold students accountable to school rules and to plan and execute class events. Andrea considers it a great privilege to get to know students more closely in both these ways, as well as in the classroom.
